Common questions
Do I need any experience to start?
None at all. Most women who come to me have never heard of FAM properly before — that’s completely normal and exactly where we start.
Can I use FAM if my cycle is irregular?
Yes. In fact, charting often helps explain why your cycle is irregular. The STM works with your actual cycle, not an average.
How long does it take to learn?
Most women feel confident after two to three full cycles. The first cycle is always the most uncertain — that’s completely normal.
Is FAM safe to use as contraception?
When taught to use it correctly, yes That’s why working with a qualified educator ather than an app makes all the difference.
