How to track your fertility cycle the Sympto-thermal method

WEEK 1

  • What is Fertility Awareness?
  • Male and Female fertility
  • why chart your cycle
  • how to get started
  • What is the Sympto-thermal method and how to use it
  • Measuring your Basal Body Temperature and tracking it.
  • Identifying fertile and non-fertile mucus – how the hormones effect this
  • Using the cervical position as a check for fertility  

You will finish week one able to start tracking your cycle with an understanding of the fertile and non-fertile phases in your cycle

WEEK 2

  • Go over the aspects of the Sympto-thermal method
  • Identifying “peak day” for all check methods
  • Discuss tracking options – what can be used to track that suits your lifestyle
  • Tracking for conception, avoiding conception and spacing between children.
  • Using the sympto-thermal method for post-pill, post-partum and pre-menopause   
  • Discussion – how is tracking working so far?

WEEK 3

  • How to use the “double check” method
  • How to draw the cover line
  • how to work out any anomalies or disturbances
  • Sharing fertility awareness with your partner – how it works in a relationship.  
  • Discussion – how is tracking working so far?  

WEEK 4

  • Defining the fertile and non-fertile windows of your cycle
  • Rules for defining non-fertile window both pre and post-ovulation as you continue to track your cycle
  • Moving forward – what changes the longer you track
  • Opportunity to share stories in a safe environment of how tracking is working so far

  • Eating and exercising to boost the different phases of your fertility cycle
Following on from this you will have three months support from me as you navigate learning how to track your own cycle, I will be available via email, text or phone call to support you as much as you need as you find your new rhythm using fertility awareness.
